I enjoy UX writing. Often we learn that folks don’t read the documentation. However, when doing UX writing which includes content that helps a user navigate a software product, you know the user must see it!
Therefore, I decided to share some basic best practices with you. Writing this type of content is very different from writing a guide or even a help topic. I believe in conciseness. This is where you really get to practice those skills. Every word counts!
Also, I’ve worked on some cool projects to help us ensure we kept labels and messages consistent. These days, there are often design systems in place to help with that.
